The Department of Women’s Studies, BHARATIYAR UNIVERSITY IS offering M.A Women’s Studies course since 2009 onwards. In the first semester students have to do field visits in various organizations. In this regard I M.A. students along with one RESEARCH SCHOLAR, have visited our esteemed organisation  on 21.09.2023 Afternoon. They included two students from foreign nations. The Research Scholar guided them in the interactions with CEO shri. D. SRINIVASAN and Trustee, sri. N. Balakishnan. They were keen to know the details of Women SHGs, their economic activities etc. They have assured to come to the field to have interactions with SHG women and see the economic activities at a mutually convenient date and time, preferably in Pollachi. The CEO, REST presented the team with ecofriendly cotton bags stitched by our SHG members, as a token of lasting relationship.
